Hallway Dreams
Are you wanting to create a gorgeous hallway that your friends will be envious of? Do you want to come home to something special…I hear you! Big hallway or small hallway, you can create something beautiful. Interior design doesn’t not have to be complicated, repeat…not complicated. Nor is it just for other people! Keep it simple and go with your gut. Think texture, colour, repetition and position. you don’t need much, just good bones
Two hallway designs here, a big one and a smaller one
No.1….Based around a large black and rattan sideboard, the black is repeated in the outline of the mirror, candle stick, vase and picture frames. Go big with your mirror and position it off centre to create interest. Balance this off centred(ness) with a taller print and some flowers in a vase on the other side. Keep your colours to a minimum, the other two colours used in this design are the mustard and contrasting teal floor lamp bringing in a punch of contrast.

Smaller hallway? No worries, I’ve got you covered…
No.2…This fun design is based around a console table, if your hallway is smaller, consider an open type to give a feeling of space. Dark woods in this one, repeated in the chair are contrasted against the mustard tones in the rug, chair seat and a wee hint in the print. Pick up the colours in your accessories, not too much, just a little! Oh and don’t forget…the green stuff!
